Worf

The Star Trek Expanded Universe Database is for fanon and related content. See Memory-Alpha.org for the canon Star Trek wiki.

Worf, son of Mogh of the House of Martok, was a 24th century Starfleet officer. Orphaned and raised by humans, Worf became the first Klingon to join Starfleet. Despite his ties to the Federation, he proved influential in the political landscape of the Klingon Empire during the 2360s and 2370s.

In 2374, Worf married Jadzia Dax in a ceremony held at Quark's on Deep Space 9. (DS9: "You Are Cordially Invited"; Star Trek: Swiftfire: "Unfinished Business")

Tragedy struck in later that year when Jadzia was killed by Dukat on Deep Space 9. A funeral was held on the station prior to her body returning to Trill, however Worf chose not to make a speech during the service. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets"; Star Trek: Swiftfire: "Into the Fire")

Following the end of the Dominion War, Worf was made the Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind")

Worf was promoted to commander and became the executive officer of the USS Enterprise-E in 2380. (TNG novel: Resistance)

[edit] Star Trek: Artemis

In 2385, he was promoted to captain and became the commanding officer of the USS Vindicator. He was placed in temporary command of the USS Artemis while Fleet Captain David Hawk was away. He later was allowed to return to his command after the Vindicator was repaired. (Star Trek: Artemis)
