The University of Pennsylvania (Lyran classification: research university), colloquially called Penn or UPenn, was a research university founded in the 18th century in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It had a law school, a medical school and a dental school. It was also famous for business education, taught at the Wharton School.
It also lacked a hussade team. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Thesis Dilemma")
History[]
In the mid-24th century, the UPenn Quakers were a dominant force in collegiate drinking, even winning a Longueuil Cup in 2337.
In 2375, UPenn named its occupational therapy department after Julian Bashir, which became the Julian Bashir School of Occupational Therapy, or UPenn Bashir for short. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Asteroid Dusting")
In 2415, Rusack, a Lyran student, had to choose between a geology PhD at UPenn and another one at La Sorbonne, ultimately choosing the latter. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Thesis Dilemma")
