The USS Yamaguchi (NCC-26510) was an Ambassador-class starship in service during the mid-24th century.
In 2344, the Yamaguchi was on patrol close to the Bajoran system and responded to a freighter under attack by a Cardassian patrol ship. The Cardassian vessel retreated from the scene and the Yamaguchi rescued the survivors from the freighter, which turned out to be Bajoran refugees. An orphaned child was adopted by Haley and Mark Renu, a couple serving on the ship. (Star Trek: Swiftfire: "What Little Girls are Made Of")
In 2355, the Yamaguchi ran across the Majestic and several of the crew spent some recreation time on the starliner. ("Waiting for the Sun")
In 2367, the Yamaguchi participated in the Battle of Wolf 359 and was destroyed by the Borg along with 38 other vessels. (DS9: "Emissary")
