The USS Passchendaele (NCC-58366) was a New Orleans-class Federation starship that was in service during the mid and late 24th century. As of 2371, the ship was commanded by Captain Stuart Fritter. (Star Trek: The Nomad Frontier).
Not much is known about her early service, although it is reasonable to assume that she is a well traveled vessel, given her age.
The Passchendaele was named for the devastating battle of the same name that was fought in Earth's First World War. The dedication plaque on her bridge bears a quote from a famous poem written during the war: In Flanders fields, the poppies blow; Between the crosses, row on row . . .
