USS Menahga (NCC-3100) was the lead ship and prototype for the Menahga-class heavy destroyers. That class would be on active duty in Starfleet during at least the late 23rd century.
The prototype — with a registry of NCP-3100 — was designated a "tactical battlecruiser." The ship and class would later be redesignated as "heavy destroyers."
