The USS Mandela (NCC-46664) was a Federation Ambassador-class heavy cruiser in service during the 24th century. (Star Trek: Swiftfire)
The Mandela was the lead vessel of the 24th Tactical Wing, Starfleet Twentieth Fleet during the Second Federation-Klingon War. Following gains made by Federation forces along the Federation-Klingon border the Mandela led the bulk of the tactical wing to assist a cruiser wing from the tactical wing during the Battle of Korvat. The Mandela destroyed at least one Klingon warship during the battle, a Vor'cha-class cruiser. ("Chariots of Korvat")
