Command of the USS Kitty Hawk' was awarded to former Commander Tertian Versos in late 2380 after he successfully lead the USS Beliskner in combat against Romulan forces in the Second Battle of Wolf 359, while the Captain was off the ship on a secret mission. The Kitty Hawk would participate in several major engagements a during the conflict as part of the 142nd Tactical Wing of the Second Fleet.(Star Trek: New Order: Goliath , Deus Ex Machina)
