History[]
Captain Enzo Rudolfini was the commanding officer of Crazy Horse in the 2330s. Elizabeth Wu, chief of security of Crazy Horse, transferred to USS Stargazer to become its second officer. (Stargazer novels: Gauntlet, Progenitor)
In 2369, Eugene Edison took the first officer position aboard the Crazy Horse. (The Star Eagle Adventures) Later in the same year, the Crazy Horse was one of the Starfleet ships preparing for a possible Borg invasion. (TNG: "Descent")
Admiral Erik Pressman was transported to the USS Enterprise-D from the Crazy Horse in 2370. (TNG: "The Pegasus")
By 2378, the Crazy Horse was a part of the Starfleet Third Fleet, under the command of Admiral Christopher Truman. In 2382, the Crazy Horse was damaged during the Battle of Minark. (Star Trek: Pioneer: "Torment and Woe")
In 2411 the Crazy Horse was assigned to a flotilla commanded by Captain Tyria Sark of the USS Black Prince, ordered to enforce Federation protection of the planet Yarmta in the Gamma Quadrant. Lieutenant Commander Jasmine Velasquez, Sark's chief engineer, described Crazy Horse as "a junker". Sark later spoke of using Crazy Horse's industrial replicators and transporters to manufacture the vaccine for the Teplan blight and beam it directly to problem areas.
