The USS Cordelia (NCC-1573) was a Federation Miranda-class cruiser.
From 2287 to 2290 the Cordelia was assigned to patrol the Rigel sector. During this period the ship frequently clashed with the Orion pirate Gorbrett Zargoza and his "Black Fleet". The Cordelia eventually killed Zargoza and destroyed his fleet a year later at the Battle of Thesala V. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 4: Starships of the Original Series Era)
