USS Constellation II (NCC-1728) was a Constitution-class heavy cruiser — part of the Endeavour-subclass — in service during the late 23rd century. (Star Fleet Technical Manual) It was intended to replace USS Constellation.
Constellation II was commissioned in February 2275.
In mid-2276, Stephen Penik was looking forward to a transfer to the Constellation II. (Star Trek: Avenger: "Star Survey")
