The USS Argus (NCC-2124) was a Miranda-class Federation starship, in service during the early 24th century. The second, and most famous, starship to bear the name, the Argus is noted for it's aid during the recovery of the Klingon Homeworld. Between 2329 and 2334 the ship was under the command of Captain Joseph Parker. (Star Trek: The Adventures of Argus)
