The USS Akyazi (NCC-1010) was an Akyazi-class perimeter action ship — the lead ship and prototype of the Akyazi-subclass — on active duty in Starfleet during at least the late 23rd century.
The Akyazi was laid down at Arbing & Lidde Starship Construction, Boston, Earth on 16 June 2284 and was launched on 20 December 2285. Following shakedown cruises, the Akyazi was commissioned on 11 October 2286. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2)
