The type-13 shuttlecraft was a Federation shuttlecraft that saw service during the late 24th century.
One of Starfleet's larger shuttle designs the type-13 started to see service on several ships during the late 2370s on several Starfleet vessels, including the USS Prometheus.
Like the Type 11 shuttlecraft that inspired it, the design of the type 13 shuttlecraft differed from other Starfleet shuttles with the cockpit separated from the rest of the shuttle; much like the design of the Danube class of runabouts. The ship was also equipped with docking hatches on the port and starboard bulkheads aft of the cockpit and on ventral hull of the vessel in line with the other airlocks. These allowed it to dock with other craft and stations.
