Posting guide Edit
The Tsunami is receiving a new councillor when the ship is suddenly attacked by an unknown space-organism, a "dark-blob", leaving part of an acidic substance on the hull.
The crew are able to vaporize the substance. When the dark-blob attacks, the Tsunami fires phasers into it, forcing it into retreat.
The Tsunami tracks the blob to a larger mess of similar protoplasmic life, only this time, with several other starships trapped within it: the Cardassian starship , a Roltekk Ferengi transport, a Vulcan starship, and a Turismo starship. They attempt to free them, but their efforts only serve to aggravate the lifeform.
The crew devise a way to modify the deflector dish to drive the blob material away, but Krane from the Roltekk starts trying to move his ship out, which begins to aggravate the lifeform even more.
The Roltekk frees itself, meanwhile four more blobs are ejected out into space to find more ships.
The Tsunami tracks one of the blobs to a Descenite ship. They destroy part of the blob, but another part succeeds in engulfing the alien ship.
The Tsunami fires a beam into the alien ship, vaporizing the blob.
Having given the Descenites the information they need to defend themselves, the Tsunami warps to the next location of the next blob-- a Ferengi outpost.
In the Sauria sector, the Tsunami destroy's the blob outside the Ferengi outpost, Leuqia. They then discover the blobs are the same type as the one named Armus from Vagra II.
