Thrello Zirt was an El-Aurian scientist, professor and lecturer; a short, full-bodied man with a flashy smile and great showmanship. He clashed with Tolian Soran over the meaning of scientific data pertaining to the Nexus, going so far as to humiliate Soran publicly before other prominent members of the El-Aurian scientific community. Years later, the disgrace reinforced Soran's quest to reach the Nexus. (Star Trek: Arcadia)
