"The New Frontier" (or "The New Frontier, Part I") was the second literary episode of Star Trek: Phoenix-X and the second literary episode of the fourth season. It was the third Star Trek: Phoenix-X entry written for the Star Trek Online: Literary Challenge.
Summary[]
After installing a new scanning system at Deep Space 9, the USS Phoenix-X triggers a phenomenon that sends it into an alternate universe, coined as Tribble space. There, they are confronted by Troblor, a giant mother-tribble, who Oroku Seifer lies to before being sent back to the prime universe. There, a single solitary tribble unknowingly detaches from the Phoenix-X and flies off into deep space.
