The Temporal Integrity Commission exists in the 29th century. Armed with equipment which can scan time, they look for any temporal anomalies, and make efforts to correct them.
Battling Vorgon, Na'kuhl, and Starfleet vessels in the 29th century over the Temporal Cold War were likely causes for the creation of the Temporal Integrity Commission. The time-traveling chase between the USS Phoenix-X and the USS Atlantis were also likely causes for their creation, in an effort to prevent careless time-traveling to happen again.
