Glinn Dovetz Telle (Ilojan transliteration: Dovetz Tele) served aboard the CUW Trager as chief engineer until Gul Akellen Macet brought him aboard the Enterprise-D in 2367. (TNG: "The Wounded", Star Trek: Sigils and Unions)
- The given name of "Dovetz" is specific to the Star Trek: Sigils and Unions continuity; as yet, no first name has been provided in any canon source, nor the Pocket Books novels. His stated position depends on the Sigils and Unions understanding of his canon rank, rather than that of the Pocket Books novels.
While his crewmate, first officer Thouves Daro made overtures of friendship towards the crew of the Enterprise, Glinn Telle was caught attempting to access the Starfleet vessel's computers. Gul Macet took great offense to this and confined Telle to quarters, vowing to punish him for his transgression. Though it pained Macet, who had seen great potential in Telle as an officer, he essentially fired Telle from his position after returning to the Trager on the basis that the glinn's loyalties were apparently split between Central Command and the Obsidian Order. (TNG: "The Wounded", Star Trek: Sigils and Unions: "The Thirteenth Order")
Telle would be succeeded as chief engineer by Jeval Topak, who discovered a network of Obsidian Order-designed spy cameras throughout the Trager that reinforced Macet's suspicions about Telle's sympathies.
Glinn Telle's fate following his dismissal from the Trager is unknown, though Macet believes the Obsidian Order would have exacted some sort of retribution from him. ("The Thirteenth Order")
