"Many Ships Have "Boldly Gone"... This One Boldly Stayed..."
Tamerlane is a fan comic series set in the 23rd century aboard the Federation destroyer USS Tamerlane.
The story follows the wartime destroyer Tamerlane, which, designed for a war that has long since ended, spends most of her time on patrol in a peace-loving Federation.
The crew of the Tamerlane is headed by Julienne Cochrane, a great-great-great-granddaughter of Zefram Cochrane. Like the ship, she is also at odds with her legacy.Tamerlane is drawn in a semi-manga style, and tends to have modern-sounding dialogue, both of which have caused a very mixed reaction in the fan community.
