I think what the nominator is trying to say is that the Pathfinder doesn't appear in any known fan-fiction, and until it does, this article will be redundant to Memory Beta's article. At first I was rather perplexed by the deletion proposal (which says "Not attached to any fiction") because this seems to cite sources, but then I realized that the cited sources are not fan-fiction but semi-cannon material. Not taking a side here, just explaining what I think the nom is trying to say. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 06:09, August 10, 2014 (UTC)

Yep. My thoughts are that it isn't relevant to the wiki. --Hawku (talk) 10:46, August 10, 2014 (UTC)
I suppose my only concern with that is that deletion would exclude the Pathfinder from out category system and make it impossible to link to (I'm not explaining that well). Duplicating Memory Beta is problematic, but making it look like Pathfinder doesn't exist is also problematic. How about a soft redirect to Memory Beta instead. Mind you, it's been years sense I've edited this wiki, and I don't know what our procedure is for these situations, of it we even have a procedure. The procedure is to delete the article. There was a time it would be turned into a redirect to MB, but I put a stop to that practice back when I was an admin. The big problem with redirecting to MA or MB is that it discourages the creation of the article on here even when there is fanon content. --JayLR 15:08, August 10, 2014 (UTC)
That would be a problem. If we had a magic (auto-updating) list of what was and wasn't covered in fanfaction, we could leave the covered items as redlinks and and redirect the uncovered items. But we don't have such a magic list, and if we went with the redirect approach, we'd create allot of false blue-links. Going with the procedure approach means alot of false red-links. There doesn't seem to be a good answer here. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 15:22, August 10, 2014 (UTC)
It'll be ok. This is likely one of the only non-fan articles on the wiki. If someone intends on using this in a fic, they can let us know here to keep it or recreate after. If we ever did non-fan articles, I'd do something like a tag at the top inviting people to add their fiction info. (Just a thought.) --Hawku (talk) 20:05, August 10, 2014 (UTC)
Was just made aware of the Template:Nofanon! So, I think I will be pulling my vote for deletion and will just tag articles like these. --Hawku (talk) 15:34, August 12, 2014 (UTC)
