This is a good example of how I think canon characters should be treated. We don't necessarily need to copy all of the data from the other wikis, just the main points about their career and key points of their background, and then add fanon references. --TimPendragon 18:11, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for noticing :) -- one thing i wanted to do was include some important non-canon references that might guide fanfic writers in further fleshing Picard out if he is used as a main or supporting char. in a fanfic -- some may prefer to use Ambassador Picard, but some would probably be curious about using Admiral Picard, depending on which timeline they see themselves sticking closest to -- the Pendragon timeline and STAG reality examples show this. -- Captain M.K.B. 18:19, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
