[edit] Identities

I've got a couple thoughts on Akharin/Flint. My first instinct is to just have one page (Akharin), and link/redirect his significant identities to sections of the page. Otherwise, we could actually have separate pages for "Flint," "Micah Brack," "Robert Blaisdell," "Emil Vaslovik," "Merlin," etc. What do you think? --TimPendragon 21:30, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

I like that approach. Makes sense to me since Akharin is his original name. (Who says we have to go by MA?) On another note, I wrote some fanfic back in the 80s showing Flint as an amalgam "Dr. Who"/"Phantom Stranger" type. God I miss those days! I have to see if I can hunt them down and add them in. --Sasoriza 02:31, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

The Who approach always made the most sense to me, as far as changing faces. I couldn't believe that someone as prominent as da Vinci looked basically the same as, say, Jesus (in the Blish adaptation, I believe), or Alexander. Like you said--it could have been noticed. I posited that his whole body underwent cellular regeneration, the same process which made him immortal, giving him different appearances. --Sasoriza 05:01, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm not sure if, for Pendragon, it's a completely new "regeneration" in the true Doctor Who sense, or if he just has some sort of cellular control/advanced DNA-altering tech that can change his appearance slightly. I doubt he changes after every "incarnation", either. Just the "major" ones, or if he's kept the same face for too long.
Any thoughts on other actors who could "play" different incarnations of Flint? I chose Derek Jacobi because he kind of has the same general "look" at James Daly, and, imho could certainly play Merlin. I would say Malcolm McDowell, but I think Soren's a bit too recognizable to "recast" him as another role. --TimPendragon 05:28, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Sean Connery. --Sasoriza 07:48, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Good thought, but he's too perfect for Elias Vaughn. Ah, well... --TimPendragon 18:45, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pendragon offset

Note that I have offset the parts of Akharin's background that will probably be specific to Pendragon continuity. My interpretation will undoubtedly differ from others', so I wanted to head off any confusion. If you've got data that's specific to your series, please follow suit. --TimPendragon 06:00, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
