Strategic Design is a Canada-based Star Trek technology fan group and publishing unit that has been in existence since the mid-1980s. Among its publications were different iterations of Starfleet Officer's Requirements, Starfleet Dynamics and Starfleet Prototypes. They are currently working on detailed blueprints of different starship classes, e.g., Nova-class and Oberth-class.

Known members of Strategic Design included David John Schmidt, Lisa Murata, David Desjardins, Robert E. Day and Kevin Atkinson.
