The Sixth Battalion was one of six battalions assigned to the Seventh Brigade in the Starfleet Marine Corps during the 23rd and 24th centuries. It was known as the "Keystone Battalion" and the brigade motto was "Holding the Center."

The 6th Battalion of the 7th Brigade was also an element of the Starfleet Marine Corps in Starfleet International. Its jurisdiction corresponded to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
