Starbase 39-Sierra was a Federation Starfleet starbase active in the 24th century, located near the Romulan Neutral Zone.

In 2364, USS Enterprise-D officer Geordi LaForge suggested all non-essential personnel and crew aboard the ship be left at Starbase 39-Sierra in case of battle with the Romulan Star Empire. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")

Sedrik served between Starbase 39-Sierra and Starbase 22 during his diplomatic missions with Federation worlds and colonies along the Neutral Zone. (Memory Icon)
