[edit] Background

Joseph Gatch, author of the fanfic Star Trek: Adventure, originally had the idea of a crossover involving as many fan fiction series as possible. The crossover was based on a storyline by Jon Wasik of Star Trek: Dragon where the Federation gained the wrath of the Vendoth, a species from another galaxy. It was split into two parts. The first part was made up of individual stories involving the Vendoth across time and space, which could be done because the nature in which they travelled from their galaxy to the Milky Way was temporal in nature. The second part was to have multiple authors write about the Vendoth attack on Earth from the perspective of their crews. This section was the centerpiece of the series and the various different stories were later combined into a single edition called "United We Stand - Together".

Nine different fanfic series were involved in Part One. Five of these nine series also contributed to Part Two: Star Trek: Adventure, Excalibur Epics, Providence, The Legend Continues and Swiftfire. Excalibur, Adventure and Dragon also did follow-up stories on the aftermath of the battle.

[edit] The Vendoth

Main article: Vendoth

The Vendoth are the villains of the series. From the distant Kalium galaxy, they are a tyrannical race, split into two castes, the warrior or "Ven" and the scientists or "Doths". They rule over a large section of their home galaxy, and are firm believers in "an eye for an eye".

[edit] Prologue

These stories are set before the central battle, in chronological order with the exception of USS Dragon, which sets up the entire series.
