The Son'a battle cruiser was a large starship utilised by the Son'a in the 24th century.
History[]
In 2375, two battle cruisers were involved in an incident within the Briar Patch with the USS Enterprise-E that resulted in one ship's destruction and heavy damage to the other. (Star Trek: Insurrection)
Technical data[]
The Son'a battle cruiser was a large intimidating design. It was equipped with powerful weapon systems and defences. Some ships were also equipped with outlawed subspace weaponry capable of firing isolytric bursts.
At least two ships of this class were modified for extensive operations within the Briar Patch. One of the changes meant that they could travel at more then one-third impulse through the patch safely. (Star Trek: Insurrection)
