Selok was a Vulcan male who served in Starfleet in the late 24th century. For much of the 2370s he served as first officer aboard the Galaxy-class USS Daedalus, under Captains' Janice Stenton and Christopher Mackenzie. (Star Trek: Daedalus)

Following the Daedalus's destruction in 2379, Selok was promoted to captain and was eventually assigned as commanding officer of the new USS Daedalus-A, a Luna-class vessel. (Star Trek: Daedalus: "The Light of Day")
