Sally Archer was the mother of Earth Starfleet Enterprise captain Jonathan Archer and wife of the late warp five engine developer Henry Archer.
She was a widow by the time their son was 12, her husband dying of Clarke's Disease, and she chose to raise Jonathan as a solo parent. (ENT: "Cold Station 12", "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II")
