Background informationEdit

  • This was the second Star Trek: Phoenix-X episode to be Halloween-themed; the first was "Halloween Special" from Season 3.
  • Avery's last appearance was in "Experimentalism" where he was taken by the Gordarions.
  • Armond's mention of Calibus VII as being the source of the infection links to IDW Publishing's 2011 comic Star Trek: Infestation. In "STO Halloween, Part III", Doctor Terek confirms this.
  • The undead-like virus re-emerges in the crew of the Phoenix-X in Part IV of "Captain's Log".
  • The title "STO Halloween" stands for "Star Trek Online Halloween", but, in-story, "STO" is joke-explained as "Space-Time October."
