Raider

A raider is a starship, usually small and swift, used in raiding other starships, starbases and other installations. (TNG: "Gambit, Part I")

Many races and groups utilized raiders, including the Maquis, Bajorans and Nausicaans. (TNG: "Preemptive Strike"; DS9: "The Siege", "For the Cause", "For the Uniform"; VOY: "Caretaker", "Repression"; ENT: "Fortunate Son") A type of freighter converted into a raider for the Maquis was the Ju'day-class starship. (VOY: "Repression")
