Sometime before 2383, Matthew Donahugh was serving near the planet when a large plasma fire broke out in the outpost. Donahugh was one of the first officers to respond and give aid. While the details are unverified, a popular story passed around the fleet is that Donahugh, a doctor whose skills of medical improvisation are near savant-level, was able to treat every victim with two hyposprays, a heavily-modified dermal regenerator and a half-charged medical tricorder.
