Q'Tal was a male Kobali born in 2410.
Q'Tal was created from Senior Chief Petty Officer Athezra Darrod, a Bajoran Starfleet security officer who was killed battling the Vaadwaur on Kobali Prime. His body was given to the Kobali for use in their reproductive process over his CO Kanril Eleya's objections. Q'Tal retained no memory of his former life and was adopted by Lyndsey Ballard, the Kobali Armaments Minister. (Bait and Switch: "Last Rights")
