The Prendak class was a type of transport fielded by the Cardassian Union specifically designed for the secure transportation of prisoners. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 2: Starships of the Cardassian Union)
The Prendak had the facilities to transport up to 2,500 criminals in individual cells. The ship had extensive internal security measures, which included neutralization fields spaced every three meters and the ability to flood sealed areas with either neurozine (to incapacitate prisoners) or neurocine (to kill prisoners).
