For the mirror universe counterpart, see Phlox (mirror).

Phlox, a Denobulan, was the Chief Medical Officer on the Enterprise, coming on board at the launch of the ship (ENT: "Broken Bow").

Early LifeEdit

Born in 2070, Phlox became a physician in about 2115 (ENT: "Damage"). He had a dozen scientific degrees (ENT: "A Night in Sickbay", "Doctor's Orders", "The Communicator").

Phlox was assigned to Starfleet Medical and then was brought aboard the Enterprise at its very beginning (ENT: "Broken Bow").

Alternate TimelinesEdit

First temporal dislocation due to a Kovaalan particle wakeEdit

When the Enterprise was first sent back to 2037, Phlox found himself pursued somewhat aggressively by MACO Amanda Cole. They married in 2038, and had nine children together. Their eldest child was named John (In Between Days:Reflections Down a Corridor, In Between Days:Entanglements).

Second temporal dislocation due to a Kovaalan particle wakeEdit

During the second temporal displacement, Phlox and Amanda married again, and again had nine children, two of whom were Grace and Fenna (In Between Days:Everybody Knows This is Nowhere).

Personal LifeEdit

He had three wives; the second one was named Feezal. They each in turn had three husbands. His marriages were somewhat open and he became involved with Elizabeth Cutler for a time (ENT: "Dear Doctor").

Memorable QuotesEdit

"Your mating rituals do fascinate me. Always a complicated minuet of sorts. Mind if I observe?"
— (In Between Days:Intolerance)
"Privacy must be rather difficult to come by. I have children; I know what that is like."
— (In Between Days:Together)

Brown University named its physical therapy department after him at some point in the early 25th century. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Wagon Train to the Stars")
