Operation Blackjack was the codename for a Starfleet Intelligence operation of 2288 to 2289 (Star Trek: Shadowstar Station: Operation Blackjack).
During this time, one of the coordinating officers was Admiral Helena Pope, director of Starfleet Intelligence's Strategic Hazards Division. (Star Trek: Avenger: "Belonging"). Other officers involved in the operation included Melissa Sturdevant, Nikolai Barstow, Alyson Massey, Carolyn Wisnumurti and Katharine Janek.
The operation was coordinated from Shadowstar Station.
Despite the loss of 60% of the Starfleet personnel assigned to it, the operation was considered successful.

The operation was named after the fact that a spatial anomaly had been discovered in Sector 212121, precipitating the events of the story.
