The Lucky (SC-193) was the designation for a Venture-class scoutship assigned to the USS Swiftfire-A during the 24th century. (Star Trek: Swiftfire)
The SC-193 was assigned to the ship in 2373 and was first used in early 2374. During a mission to destroy a Cardassian weapons convoy the SC-193 was used to produce false ion and warp trails in the Larkin system to distract any pursuing Dominion warships. It was heavily damaged by a weapons satellite in orbit of Larkin III and nearly crash landed on the planet. It underwent repairs by the colonists of Nathan's Gap who were in hiding from the Dominion on the planet. ("Moral Actions")
After the Swiftfire was badly damaged and trapped behind enemy lines in the Tong Beak Nebula the SC-193 was flown by Commander Nikki Whitechapel and made the lead vessel for the group of escorting shuttlecraft during the Swiftfire's journey back to Federation space. ("Change in Command")
Following an engagement with Vendoth warships in the Badlands a Klingon class 4 cloaking device was installed on the SC-193 for a mission to lure Dominion warships to the area to force a battle between them and the Vendoth. The ship was not designed to operate with a cloaking device and when it sent the transmission it was detected by the Vendoth and it was captured along with Captain Jonathan Masters. Masters managed to escape from the Vendoth ship, Pri'tak, in the SC-193 with assistance from Q. ("The True")
Following this incident the ship was named Lucky and the cloaking device was confiscated by Starfleet Intelligence. ("The Only Thing Necessary")
