Jonar (symbiont)

Jonar was a Trill symbiont, living within the humanoid host and bringing both memories of previous hosts and creating a new, unique individual through two once-separate entities.

As of 2372, the Jonar symbiont had been joined five times, and at least four of these joinings have been to hosts serving in Starfleet. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions)
