The Jackson Center for Archaeology was a prestigious research institute founded in the 22nd century in the Earth city of Chicago. The Center was known for sometimes radical ideas on ancient galactic history.

Named for Dr. Daniel Jackson of Stargate SG-1 fame.

Timothy Sinclair pursued a doctorate in archaeology at the Center during his retirement from Starfleet in the 2370s. A grant from the Center enabled Sinclair to pursue his theories of a connection between the Iconians and the Tkon Empire. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "Another Time, Another Place")

In the 2380s, Tyler Sinclair briefly considered leaving Starfleet Academy to study at the Center. (PDN: "Sometimes It Comes in the Clouds")
