"Into the Fire" is the seventh episode of Star Trek: Unity, a Fan Film Series and is the last episode of Season 1. It is the second part of a two part story, begining with "Out of the Shadows..." and sees the end of the Rakelli story arc, as well as the final appearance of Becky Florence as Commander Tina Nuttol and Adam Best as Jimb'a.

They are BACK!!! The Borg attempt to assimilate Unity and Lewis has a very emotional encounter with the Rakelli emperor as the hood of this enemy is finally pulled back.

- This episode begins moments after the end of "Out of the Shadows...".
- The scene on Rakellus and then the final scenes on Unity take place a week after the rest of the episode.

- In this episode, the original idea was not to have the Borg revealed as the key behind the Rakelli. Instead, the Rakelli Emperor was to have been a simple Rakelli who had become power hungry. The Borg element was added to provide a twist and the chance to bring back a classic Star Trek foe.
