Hutz, Sanchez & Van Phuoc was a leading Brussels law firm in the 25th century.
After signing the 0L Pledge for European Law School Transparency, Dunames Lopez took an observation internship at that law firm in her 0L summer before she was set to attend Washington University in St. Louis for law school. Her bad experience at that firm was since chalked up to the culture at that law firm. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Wagon Train to the Stars")
The firm employed three lawyers with American law degrees: one middling WUSTL graduate, one who graduated in the top 15% in its class at Cogley Law School, and a bottom-15% graduate of the University of Chicago, all practicing private interplanetary law. Production notes[]
The law firm was named after Lionel Hutz, a lawyer in the Simpsons, and his alter egos Miguel Sanchez and Nguyen Van Phuoc.
