An honor blade (Rihan: sienov omienai or sienov nnea omienai, lit. "sword of honor") was a traditional Romulan sword resembling a saber. The curved blades typically featured a basket hilt. Admiral Valdore i'Kaleh tr'Ihaimehn carried an honor blade with him. He used his honor blade to kill his technologist Nijil after discovering his connection to the Ejhoi Ormiin dissident group. Valdore also used it against Admiral Dagarth when she used a mutagenic device against Haakona Prime without his authorization.
