A homeworld is a planet a species determines to be their origin point or current home. A homeworld can have more than one intelligent species.

Examples of homeworlds include:

• The human homeworld is Earth.
• The Klingon homework is Qo'noS.
• The Romulan homeworld is Romulus, even though they evolved on Vulcan.
