Henry Archer

Henry Archer worked as the chief developer in the Warp 5 program in the 22nd century. He was the father of Earth Starfleet Enterprise captain Jonathan Archer.
During his career, Archer knew and worked with such famous humans as Dr. Zefram Cochrane and Emory Erickson. Working in the Warp 5 program, Archer was primarilly responsible for creating the warp five engine as a part of the NX program. (ENT: "Broken Bow", "Daedalus")
In 2122, he contracted Clarke's Disease and died from it in 2124, not living to see the warp five engine in action. He was survived by his wife Sally Archer and his son Jonathan. (ENT: "Cold Station 12")
