Hatora of J'bel

Hatora of J'bel served as Chief of the Boat of the USS Independence (NCC-67091). (Star Trek: Independence)

Early life

Hatora was born on Illyria, in the settlement of J'bel, in 2336.

Starfleet training

Hatora chose an occupation as a security specialist.

USS Archer

His first tour of duty was aboard this Centaur-class ship. The Archer served on the front-lines of the Federation-Cardassian War. There, Hatora received his trial by fire.

Deep Space Three

Located near Breen and Nausicaan space, the station was created by the natives of Peliar Zel before they joined the Federation. When he transferred in 2359, he served as the station’s security chief assistant.

Starbase 67

In 2370, Hatora was assigned to this Starbase. He served as the station's Security Chief. During the Dominion War, he often volunteered for temporary assignments to supplement starship missions, over the objections of his CO.

USS Independence (NCC-67091)

Shortly after being assigned to the Steamrunner-class ship, he unveiled the name of the lounge as decided by the new crew. They named it Jinal’s, in honor of the officer that saved some of the crew of the former Independence.

Family and personal life

Hatora has one daughter, Latora of J'bel, in Starfleet Academy.
