The Halsey class destroyer escorts were a type of Federation starship on active duty during at least the 23rd century.

Similar in spaceframe design to the Saladin-class destroyers, Halseys had a standard crew complement of 168 plus 36 surface action specialists. (Task Force Games: UFP: The Federation Sourcebook for Prime Directive)
