In 2372, Gul Dukat was given command of the Groumall after he fell from grace due to the scandel created by his illegitimate half-Bajoran daughter. After Dukat captured a Klingon B'rel-class Bird-of-Prey Dukat destroyed the Groumall and the Klingon crew of the Bird-of-Prey that were beamed off their ship onto the Groumall.
