Free Haven was a Bajoran colony located in the Sanelar system. In 2372, the Dominion hired the Breen pirate Graal to attack the colony. The attack force was driven off by the USS Defiant. (DS9: "To the Death"; The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
- Prophets' Haven was the name of the colony in the original script, which was also used by The Dominion War Sourcebook. The location comes from Star Trek: Star Charts.
In 2410 the Klingon Sixth Fleet under General Brokosh set a trap for Breen Dok Thak raiders planning to hit Free Haven, ambushing them with help from Ferengi GuiMon Trag. (Bait and Switch: "Strange Times Are Upon Us, Part I")
