I'm not sure if this was talked about before. But what do you guys think of the idea of a rating system for series? Something like the Motion picture rating system: G, PG, PG13, M, R - but those are just examples. Just an idea. --Hawku 04:52, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

It might need to be for individual stories rather than series, because I know my ratings vary quite a bit from story to story, all the way from "A Weaver of Lives," which is definitely G, all the way up to my latest, "Exits in the Haze," which if things had been just a LITTLE more detailed, would've been R. And just one word of warning--it's my understanding that the MPAA and ESRB do serve cease-and-desists to people who use their rating systems (movies and video game rating systems, respectively). Yeah, I've heard that, too. That's why FF.net and some online sim groups changed their ratings, and it led to the creation of "The Fan Rated Rating System. Ratings here might be good, but I think that it should be up to the individual authors. Unless, of course, we start getting a slew of articles for "adult" stories, in which case we might need to make a policy. But that hasn't happened yet (to my knowledge), and hopefully it won't. --TimPendragon 07:24, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
