hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but i'm entirely new to wiki editing. i see under certain canon characters who have been used in others' fanon that the info is listed under "alternate continuities". does one only summarize there according to their fic/series or does ALL info one has created for their fic/series go there?
example in point: Shakaar. in one of my series, i have him as married and will provide background in that series for where he met his wife, etc. in another series, his descendant from the aforementioned pairing is a main character. i am wondering how to fit all that in in a neat, organized order.
thanks very much for any help. :) - RubyChe 04:57, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
- Generally the alternate continuities are used for info that contradicts the established canon or other fanon, otherwise you could probably just put it in the main section.– Cpthunt 05:14, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
but that's why i am asking....Shakaar even being married is a contradiction of established canon, much less the elements i have used/am using in my series. (and he's just one of a few canon chars that have been used) so that is why i'm wondering if i need to put it ALL under my section in the alternatate continuities. - RubyChe 05:16, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
